Beginning Wed April 10th, 7:30pm - 8pm. Learn and practice the basics of meditation. Learn basic breathing techniques, visualizations, mindfulness, and meditation exercises that you can use in daily life. Let go of stress. Meditation can ease anxiety, increase focus, improve general health & wellbeing, and leave you feeling happier in your life. Developing a regular habit of meditation enhances these benefits. Meditating with a group can be more effective than meditating alone.
This is a new class, meeting Wedsnesdays from 7:30 - 8pm, except for the first Wed. of the month. First Wedsnedays will be a longer class, focusing on traditational yogic meditation, from 7:30pm-8:30pm. Beginners and more advanced meditators are welcome on all Wednesdays. Meditation classes are by donation. Suggested: $5 to $10, or use a punchcard.
