Yoga & Meditation is an open level & relaxing class, welcoming to beginners and those with some yoga experience. Stretch, strengthen and improve balance as we learn and practice hatha yoga poses and flows. Allow stress to melt away with restful poses. Each class will include a short segment exploring meditation. Meditation, a core practice of yoga, involves letting go of distracting thoughts and tensions and turning the attention within. We begin to experience who we are on a deeper level, connecting to a profound sense of clarity, compassion and happiness. Thousands of studies have shown the physical and mental health benefits of mindfulness and meditation.
